Job Position: Operations / General Manager Ref: 4023 Location: Mthatha Salary: R530 000 CTC per annum commensurate with experience and qualification Email your updated CV to recruit@onlinepersonnel.co.za 1 year contract (with renewal periods) Qualifications / Requirements: • University Degree / National Diploma in Management, Human Resources or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Office Management, Procurement and Administration • Experience in supervising staff • Knowledge of Labour laws, Government regulations, and legal codes • Fluency in written and oral English and Xhosa is essential • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal, listening skills and collaborative management style • Proven ability to identify and develop processes and procedures where necessary • Ability to undertake limited travel within the province, as necessary Key Performance Areas: • Manage office start-up and day-to-day operations: – Develop and implement administrative workflows, procedures, and standard quality controls – Manage company’s office lease in Mthatha and maintain office management systems – Purchase office equipment and furniture and maintain stock inventory – Oversee maintenance of office equipment – Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of office facilities – Ensure that the contractor monitors, maintains, and updates computer systems and networks, as well as provides responses to systems assistance in a timely manner to service issues and user request • Human Resources: – Coordinate recruitment, selection, and orientation of new staff with the support of Team Leader – Keep abreast of labour legislation and manage employee relations • Provide logistical and administrative support : – Provide logistical support for events, conferences, and workshops including arranging refreshments and venues and maintaining meetings calendar
